Antique Bar Brooch -Tie Pin Sword-M.O. P Hilt – WW1

A very unusual white metal bar brooch / tie pin, miniature sword with M.O.P. hilt.

7cms long, with C clasp, all in good order.

“Nieuport” engraved on blade.

Nieuport, later Nieuport-Delage, was a French aeroplane company that primarily built racing aircraft before World War I and fighter aircraft during World War I and between the wars.
